Day Trip To Brighton

August 28, 2007

At the station, I noticed the card game 'Top Trumps'. I hadn't seen this school coach favourite for a long time, but it looks to have been updated.
There were a few themes available, and I chose Dogs.

If you haven't played before, the basic aim is to 'trump' your opponent's card. Each Dog has certain attributes, and the players take it in turn to call out these and see if their dog has higher points. A Rottweiler has higher guard-dog skills than a Chihuahua for example. Each time you beat your opponent, you capture their card.

Eventually, I was just left with the Cairn Terrier. This card was dreadful - the Dog is small, common, a poor guard-dog and not especially loveable. It's a really useless Dog.

In the town, there was an exhibition of classic Polish movie posters at CraneKalman.

Then down to the beachfront.

The Brighton Beach is very tough on your feet.
