I donated some Blood yesterday. This was the second time, but the first was about 7 or 8 years ago.
Seems like most people feel quite faint, but both times I felt quite energised afterwards.
It's quite interesting that different people take different times to fill the bag. Maybe I can try and beat my speed next time.
"A pint? That's nearly an armful!"

Fraser Cooke flying through on the latest European tour.
Phil Frost setting up a new show at Elms Lesters Painting Rooms.

Luxury issue featuring fashion brands.
The main feature talks about the new line 'American Made', created by Ralph Lauren for J.C. Penney and future plans for Polo.
It seems that Ralph Lauren is on a PR offensive at the moment as I've seen features in magazines from all countries. I look forward to the book release next month.

OZ used to be scheduled at unusual times in the UK - very late due to the content - so it was always hard to watch a whole series.
Set in the fictional Oswald State Correctional Facility and narrated by Augustus Hill, a wheelchair-bound prisoner, the prison community is divided into a number of main groups -
Muslims, Homeboys, Aryans, Bikers, Italians, Latinos, Irish, Gays and various outsiders.
Over the past couple of months, I've been working through the DVDs in order and just finished the 6th and final season.
At times exciting, at times funny and at times harrowing, this was a great show that I really enjoyed.

While not exactly a recommendation, this book is quite incredible.
As the title suggests, it is a presentation of uniforms worn by the Third Reich.
This is a dark piece of history, and the uniforms are presented in a detached way.
I was quite surprised by the detail and level of manufacture on much of the items, as you can see on the hats that were made in Rome.
Schiffer Books make really great collectors series, so I am interested to see other countries represented in the other editions.

I always favour vintage Levi's jeans, so I'm very happy to be working with Levi's again for Stussy.
This project is bigger than last time, and the samples are looking good. Hopefully others will like it too.
Thanks to Jonathan, You and all at Levi's EU!

New Piccadilly Restaurant is to close next Saturday.
I always tried to use this location in as many photo-shoots as possible, as this place is unique.
A classic of 1950's London, the restaurant decor has changed little since it opened. The waiters still wear period uniforms, the menu serves Anglo-Italian staples.
If you are in London this week then check it out before it is gone forever.

The Wilson Brothers came by today to present a new work-in-progress for Stussy.
Their latest release, a recyclable 'occasional table' is on sale in Stussy stores this weekend...

Originally made by Roy Lichtenstein to be sold in the NYC pop art store 'On 1st' in the sixties, some of these paper plates have recently resurfaced from a museum in California to a museum shop in London.
It's a nice collectable!

I went to Kew Gardens today, set up as a botanical centre in 1840.
I think I must have visited once before when I was much younger, on a school trip or something similar. I was probably unable to appreciate it before, but this time I enjoyed walking around.
Internationally known for housing rare plants from around the world, the gardens are extensive - some areas are undercover and climate-controlled.
Aside from the plants, there are a lot of creatures living in the gardens too.
I spent a lot of time watching these bees. I'm not sure which kind they were, but I'd never really seen how they pollinate the flowers. It was fascinating to see them fill the sacks by their back legs with nectar.

Meeting between Adidas and Footpatrol yesterday at Vita Organic on Wardour Street.
The meeting was to discuss a new shoe coming soon...
I haven't been to this restaurant for a while, and I was surprised about how busy it was - it has become really popular.

He wasn't inside, but I've no doubt that this truck belongs to Chris Eubank.
