School Daze

Home computers were always bigger than game consoles in the UK. Of course we had NES, early Sega and grey-imported systems (PC Engine) but I don't remember consoles getting really popular until Sega Megadrive and Sonic The Hedgehog. I was at Secondary School at the time, and I think it was then that it started to take off.

Two of the popular games from that time are available on iPhone now. Golden Axe and Streets Of Rage seem so similar to each other when you play them now - yet once it was all so new...
