I'm sure some of the bigger watch collectors out there will find my excitement unwarranted but for me it was all about the journey. About 3 months ago i found out that Rolex had placed a new movement inside its swan song M serial number Pepsi/coke GMT MASTER 2s, and that the dials in the M serial had stick numerals instead of the often used roman numerals. after doing some more research I (along with some smarter Rolex collectors who believe maybe only 35,000 of these exist) came to the conclusion that the M serial was a rare and hard to come by version of the (now discontinued) Rolex GMT with a pespi or coke bezel. After weeks of searching (it was an up and down ride) and looking to nab the watch at a normal price - on ebay the watch was going way to much over sticker to make it fun ( i wanted the challenge) could i get one....yes i did.
The R10 has a larger 3-inch screen, 7.1x optical zoom, and a 10-megapixel CCD sensor that can shoot at ISO80 to ISO1600. There's also four-person face recognition, CCD-shift anti-shake compensation, a 1-cm macro mode and lots of "easy" presets that make the camera do automatic leveling of contrast and sharpness in the images it takes. It's out in black, brown and silver September 5th in Japan at first for around $450 - (thanks gizmodo)
