I recently completed the third and final silkscreen in the Original Fake Companion series. This one like the other two is a signed and numbered edition of 100pcs, available starting today at the OF store and at kawsone.com for those of you that do not live in Tokyo.
After the printing was finished and the paper was cut down to size we hand painted the edges of the paper pink to give a glow all around the print.
I hope if you're in the neighborhood, you get a chance to stop by the store and see this one in person.

Absolutely nothing, except that we contributed to a feature called 'The Gold Standard' in Variety magazine that hits newsstands today.
Besides walking my dogs and occasionally getting food, I really only leave the studio to go watch movies, so it was pretty cool to be a part of this article and talk about the movies I like, to someone other than my dogs.

2006 felt like ten minutes, I'm still trying to get used to the idea of knowing that what I'm working on today will not really be out until the middle of the year or later. Last year was good to me and I got to work on a lot of different projects with some really creative and interesting individuals. I hope to do more of the same this year. Thanks to everyone that I crossed paths with in the last year, I wish you all the best in 2007.
My friend Mark Veca gave me this platter for Christmas, I can't wait till the family comes around next year.
Of course we have to start the new year off right at Original Fake.
Burton, Visvim, & Bounty Hunter collabs....
I think this year will be fun.
