TOKYO July 18, 2007
I met up with Masamichi Katayama for lunch and afterwards we visited a few galleries. (This is what your photo turns out like when you take a picture with a fellow Honeyee blogger.) One of the spots we visted was RATHOLE gallery which is owned by Nobu, from Hysteric Glamour. They have been publishing great photography books for years and the gallery has a book shop with an amazing collection of rare titles. This is an Araki book they just put out, it's pretty massive - over 300 pages, and the printing quality is insane. Thanks to Kei and Ebisu, I got to take full advantage of my jet lag and hang out like I was on NY time! When I got back to Brooklyn, everything was how I left it except that my shipment of 4' Companions were waiting for me. I'll be releasing them on KAWSONE in the next day or two. |
