ワンダーウォール設立10周年 & KAWS*Wonderwall

ワンダーウォールのWeb Shopがリニューアルしました。
こちらもthaさんによるデザインです。
2月6日（土）に投入する第一弾の商品は、ワンダーウォール設立10周年を記念して
メディコムさんにご協力頂いた、KAWS*WonderwallのフィギュアとTシャツです。
これは、2008年の作品集「Wonderwall Masamichi Katayama Projects No.2」の
発売を記念して、Wonderwallというテーマで書いてもらったグラフィックを
3D化したものになります。

We will be launching KAWS*Wonderwall Companion to commemorate
our firm's 10th anniversary. The graphics are derived from the launch of
our 2nd monograph 'Wonderwall Masamichi Katayama Projects No.2',
and we asked Medicom make this "Wonderwall" theme into 3D form.

DUST MY BLOOM by Ichigo Sugawara

菅原さんから届いたパッケージの中に入っていたのが、
写真集「DUST MY BROOM」。
青森にあるリサイクル工場を撮った写真です。
ゴミとして捨てられたものたちの写真ですが、
ゴミとは思えない美しさで、とても気になっていました。
事務所にお邪魔する機会があったので、記念にパチリ。ちなみに、
二人が着ているのはLOOPWHEELER特製の「DUST MY BROOM パーカー」です。
写真集の出版を記念して＜TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS＞にて
写真展が開催されています。僕は、個人的に菅原さんのプラチナプリントが好きです。
2月24日まで開催していますので、皆さまぜひ。
A while ago, I received a this book called 'DUST MY BLOOM'.
This is the photo book of a recycling factory in Aomori.
The origin of these photographic subjects are discarded trash of cans,
steels and etc, which were, but I was so attracted its beauty and
it was always in my head.
I had a chance to visit his studio, so we picture together.
Just for the record, we are both wearing 'DUST MY BLOOM HOODY'
made by <LOOPWHEELER>.
To commemorate this publication, there is an exhibition going on at
＜TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS＞. Personally, I like his platinum print.
This show is on until Februaly 24th.
Ryan Gander

来日中のアーティストライアンが、オフィスに遊びに来てくれました。
昨年引っ越したオフィスの1Fのアートは、すべてライアンの作品。
念願かなって本人に見てもらうことが出来ました。
Artist Ryan Gander who was in Tokyo recently, came over to my office.
We moved into this new building at the end of the year last year,
and all art on the 1st floor is by Ryan. I was really looking forward to this day
to have Ryan see my new office w/ his work installed. I had really out grown
my previous office that I was not able to hang all the artwork I had collected
over the years.
オフィスにと、新しいアートをお土産にいただきました。
ライアンの事務所を書いたアートワークです。
こういうのは、本当に嬉しいです。早く額装しなくちゃ。
He brought me a gift for my new office.
It was a drawing of his office done by another illustrator.
I really love it. I have to frame it right away.
