香港出張2 The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong Grand Opening

I.Tのオープニングで香港にいった後、一度戻って来て、再び香港へ。
今回はリッツ・カールトン香港自体のグランドオープニングに参加しました。
僕がデザインさせて貰った118FのOZONEも沢山の人で賑わってました。
I revisited Hong Kong after I came back from I.T trip.
This time is to attend grand opening of the The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong.
OZONE at 118F, the bar which I designed, was full of people!

118Fのテラス部分。上部が空いているの見えますか？
ちなみに、このバーはビクトリアピークと同じ高さです。
This the terrace of 118F. Can you see there is no roof?
This bar is located as the same height has Victoria Peak.
高木こずえさんの作品が店内にあります。これ以外に大きな作品もありますが、暗くて写真がとれず、残念。
This is artwork by Cozue Takagi. There is another larger piece installed, but photo was too dark...

ロビーの様子です。ドレスアップした方が沢山。

ビルの入り口には特設ステージが出来て、オペラ歌手のキャサリン・ジェンキンスさんがパフォーマンスです。
Katherine Jenkins, opera diva, performed at the special stage prepared in front of the endtrance.
そして、同じくリッツ・カールトン香港の102Fのレストランも日本人インテリアデザイナーのSPIN小市さんです。
今回リッツに紹介してくれたのが彼なのですが、海外の5つ星クラスのホテルをメインに活躍中です。
I am proud that 102F restaurant is also designed by Japanese interior designer, Koichi-san of SPIN.
He is actually the one who introduced me to The Ritz-Carlton and very active in 5-star-Hotel industry.
今回初めて国際的なホテルのバーデザインをさせて貰いましたが、本当に勉強になりました。
そして更にホテルデザインに興味を持ちました。
これからもっとホテルのデザインが出来たらいいな。。。と思います！
It was my very first time to design for international hotel bar.
I learned a lot and find it fascinating.
I hope to have opportunities for more hotel design...
