A while ago i was invited to Beijing, it was all grand and the trip was great.
I will never forget it.
While we were in China a huge earthquake took place.
It is still kind of shocking something can happen so close, yet so far.

Most people that know me, know that i love Isetan and its food court.
I would of liked seeing this.
A black jumbo watermelon produced in Japan's northern island of Hokkaido is on sale for 630,000 yen (US$ 5,945) at Tokyo's Isetan department store Friday, June 6, 2008 shortly after being flown into Tokyo, some 500 miles south of Hokkaido, following its bidding earlier in the day. The 24-pounder (11 kilograms) premium Densuke is the biggest among the first of 65 sold as part of the season's initial harvest and another Densuke that weighs 17-pound (8-kilogram) has fetched a record 650,000 yen ($6,100), making it the most expensive watermelon ever sold in the country — and possibly the world.
So after you buy this thing what do you do? Eat it? What if it does not taste good?

Twombly is the thinking person's Banksy. Are you ready for the real thing?
Being a professional art critic is a truly indulged existence. You get paid to do something you'd gladly do for free, and on top of that you get free travel, free art books ... it's an art lover's heaven. And yet in every paradise there is a thorn. The thorn of being an art critic in modern Britain is that people keep asking you about Banksy.
I've published more articles about this unimportant graffiti and street artist than I care to count. I've generally been pretty harsh and yet the honest truth is that I don't have an opinion about Banksy. I can't believe that grown people find his work worth more than passing attention; he just doesn't come onto my radar. What I really want to say to his admirers is - haven't you people ever heard of Cy Twombly? He's the only graffiti artist I care about.

As Punk disappeared and the Mod and Ska revival faded, in the mid 80s, football hooligans in Britain morphed from Doc Marten wearing Skinheads to proto-mulletted, Pringle sweatered ‘Casuals’. Worse than the horrible violence they stirred up were their terrible sartorial inclinations and, unintentionally camp, bouffant hairdos.
This celebrated documentary followed the most famous contemporary gang, West Ham’s ICF or Inter City Firm, so called because their members were aspiring, middle class, season ticket holders who traveled to away matches on the Inter City rail network.
It was the epitome of the worst of Thatcher’s Britain and as such is an historical piece that transcends its narrow subject matter.
